I'm Christian, an independent creative living and working in Gothenburg, Sweden.
My Story
How can I create wonderful things?
I was born and raised in Augsburg, Germany. I always loved making things and was curious about how they work. As a logical next step, I moved to Stuttgart to become an automotive engineer. I wanted to be close to users and make great products for them, but it turned out engineers are not at all close to the users.
Designers are the ones who figure out what a product should be. The designers I met cared about the user, not just the product itself. This is how great products get built, and I wanted to do the same.
In 2021, I moved to Sweden to study design. Here I learned that great design is simple. Great design finds the essence of a problem and creates simple solutions.
Designers find the right things to create, and engineers make them happen. Only together can wonderful products get made.
